An Adaptive Easter Celebration for Individuals with Special Needs
Baskets of Love is an annual Easter celebration designed to bring joy, inclusion, and meaningful connection to individuals with special needs and their families. This heart-centered community event offers a safe, welcoming space where every guest can experience the magic of Easter at their own pace and in their own way.

With accessibility and sensory awareness at the forefront, the event features an adaptive Easter egg hunt that removes barriers and ensures all participants can enjoy the excitement of discovery—whether eggs are found on the ground, in baskets, or with assistance. Every guest shares in the same sense of accomplishment and delight.
Beyond the egg hunt, attendees enjoy face painting, hands-on crafts, and plenty of tasty Easter treats, creating opportunities for creativity, social connection, and family fun. A cherished highlight is story time with one of our gentle horses, offering a calming and magical moment of connection. Guests can also capture joyful keepsakes with photos alongside the Easter Bunny, creating memories families will treasure long after the celebration ends.

Baskets of Love is open to all of our clients and their families as well as volunteers, which encompasses more than 400 people. We also invite clients of other non-profits that serve individuals with special needs and we anticipate a record-number of attendees this year.
